Very nice old Celluloid piece in a heart shape, delicate with a somewhat brassy coloring and some patina. The closure on the back is an old style C-Clasp and I think this piece dates back to the late 1800s or early 1900s. The frame has some patina and is either brass or a modified gold tone but I don't wish to polish it out to evaluate it. The condition is very good with very light surface scratched on the back and really excellent in the front. Measures 15/16 x 1 inch.
