Raised gold Arabic Numerals, silver hands, a second dial at 6 o'clock. All seconds in black.
This is a 17 Jewel Swiss Movement by the esteemed Jewelers & Watchmakers C. Bucherer of Lucerne. Makers of fine timepieces, they were well known for their outstanding geometric enamel timepieces.
This has been constructed to hang from a chain as well as used as a clip. (I'm showing it in my showcase on a long Edwardian sterling watch chain ($395) and it looks wonderful).
The clip measures 1.75" in length, it is 1" wide. The face is round and .75" across.
CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. Very slight enamel wear is well in keeping with age and use. The timepiece has been recently serviced and is keeping good time. Maker: Bucherer, Lucerne, Switzerland. Circa 1920's.
If you don't have a long silver chain and want to wear this on one, please let me know & I'll send pics of the Edwardian chain.
Our fine jewelry and timepieces are delivered worldwide at no charge to our clients.
