Romantic dated 1909 'Best Wishes' Series 740 embossed postcard, published by Samson Brothers, Printed in Germany. A lovely blond woman stands in the arched doorway of her flower-covered cottage and welcomes the arrival of two white Doves, one bearing a letter sealed with a Heart and the other a stem of red Roses. The card is in Very Good condition, with minor discoloration, slightly rounded corner tips and a few soil spots to the verso. One cent stamp still affixed, postmarked April 2, 1909. Shipped in a rigid sleeve and waterproof mailer for a safe journey.
